SANTA CLARA, California — October 16 — NVIDIA today announced that its RTX Spark superchip will power the first wave of Windows laptops shipping on October 16, 2026, from OEM partners ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI, with additional models from Acer and GIGABYTE slated to follow later this fall.

According to NVIDIA’s official newsroom (May 31, 2026), the RTX Spark is a “1‑Petaflop Superchip” that integrates an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU featuring up to 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth‑generation Tensor Cores, linked via the NVLink‑C2C chip‑to‑chip interconnect to a high‑performance NVIDIA Grace CPU with up to 20 cores, all running Windows 11. The platform delivers the full CUDA and RTX ecosystem, DLSS 5, Reflex, G‑SYNC, ray‑tracing and Remix technologies from day one, and is designed for AI workloads, content creation and gaming with all‑day battery life.

The announcement aligns with an earlier Reuters report (Sept 3, 2026) that NVIDIA had set an October launch for RTX Spark‑based AI PCs, confirming the October 16 availability date disclosed on NVIDIA’s product page. NVIDIA also noted collaboration with MediaTek on the Grace CPU design to achieve best‑in‑class power efficiency and connectivity.
